Cleveland ISD is aware of social media posts circulating in our community and is investigating the claims. At this time, we have not identified any credible threats.
As an added precaution, we have increased police presence at Cleveland High School. Our students' and staff's safety remains our priority.
Families and students should report any safety concerns directly to campus staff. We will share updates through official district channels as needed.

Power has been fully restored at Southside Elementary and C9. Both campuses will be open and operating on their normal schedules.

📱 Personal Communication Devices - State Law Reminder
Texas Education Code Sec. 37.082 establishes statewide expectations regarding student use of personal communication devices during the school day.
To help ensure a focused learning environment, students may not use personal communication devices while on school property during the instructional day. Devices, including cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds/headphones, tablets, and similar electronic devices, must remain stored in the student's backpack unless otherwise directed by school staff.
This policy applies to all Cleveland ISD campuses and is designed to:
• 📚 Minimize classroom distractions
• 👩🏫 Maximize instructional time
• 🎯 Keep students engaged in learning
• 🏫 Ensure consistency with Texas law
